1. Citizens USD E-Com Card

The Citizens USD E-Com Card is USD-denominated payment card designed for individuals, firms, companies, and organizations to make permitted international online payments conveniently and securely.

The cards enable you to pay for a wide range of international online goods and services including digital subscriptions, software, online learning platforms, and other online transactions, without requiring a foreign currency income source.

Key Features

• Annual spending limit of up to USD 500

• Flexible loading facility through a single transaction or multiple top-ups during the year
• Secure online payments with 3D Secure authentication
• Valid for 5 years from the date of issuance.
• Easy top-up facility available through Citizens Bank branches
• Remaining USD balance can be converted into NPR and transferred to the cardholder’s account as per applicable regulations.
• Option to increase the annual limit up to USD 5,000 for individuals/businesses earning foreign currency through service exports upon submission of valid proof of foreign currency (FCY) earnings.
• The card is designed exclusively for online transactions and cannot be used for ATM cash withdrawals, POS purchase transactions, or the purchase of assets, property, or restricted goods/services as per Government of Nepal regulations.

• Available to Individuals, Firms, Companies or organizations having valid PAN
• Active account with Citizens Bank with up-to-date KYC
• Customer must not be availing a similar facility from another bank or financial institution

2. Citizens Corporate ICT USD E-Com Card

The Citizens Corporate ICT USD E-Com Card is specially designed for businesses operating in Information Technology (IT), Communication Technology (CT), and Information Dissemination sectors.

Make international payments for essential digital business needs including software licenses, cloud platforms, hosting services, subscriptions, and other technology-related services.

Key Features

• Annual spending limit up to USD 3,000.
• Flexible loading facility through a single transaction or multiple top-ups during the year
• Secure online payments with 3D Secure authentication
• Ideal for purchasing software, cloud services, web hosting, subscriptions, digital tools, and other IT-related services.
• Valid for 5 years from the date of issuance.
• Option to increase the annual limit up to USD 5,000 for businesses earning foreign currency through service exports upon submission of valid proof of foreign currency (FCY) earnings.
• The card is designed exclusively for online transactions and cannot be used for ATM cash withdrawals, POS purchase transactions, or the purchase of assets, property, or restricted goods/services as per Government of Nepal regulations.

• Available to registered business entities engaged in Information Technology (IT), Communication Technology (CT), and Information Dissemination Technology sectors.
• Active account with Citizens Bank with up-to-date KYC
• Customer must not be availing a similar facility from another bank or financial institution

3. Citizens Premium USD E-Com Card

The Citizens Premium USD E-Com Card is designed for individuals and businesses earning foreign currency through online service exports.

Manage your international online payments with a higher spending limit and convenient access to permitted global digital services.

Key Features

• Annual spending limit up to USD 5,000, subject to FCY earnings.
• Flexible loading facility through a single transaction or multiple top-ups during the year
• Secure online payments with 3D Secure authentication
• Supports online payments for permitted international goods and services.
• Valid for 5 years from the date of issuance.
• Customers holding either the Citizens USD E-Com Card or the Citizens Corporate ICT USD E-Com Card can upgrade to the Citizens Premium USD E-Com Card by submitting valid proof of foreign currency (FCY) earnings.
• The card is designed exclusively for online transactions and cannot be used for ATM cash withdrawals, POS purchase transactions, or the purchase of assets, property, or restricted goods/services as per Government of Nepal regulations.

• Submission of valid proof of foreign currency earnings
• Active account with Citizens Bank with up-to-date KYC
• Customer must not be availing a similar facility from another bank or financial institution

Documents Required for USD E-Com Cards:

To apply for a Citizens USD E-Com Card, please submit:

• Completed USD E-Com Card Application Form
• Self-Declaration confirming that you have not availed a similar USD prepaid card from another bank or financial institution.
• Updated KYC Form
• Copy of your PAN Certificate
• Valid proof of foreign currency earnings (for USD 5000 limit)
• Additional documents may be requested as per bank policy and regulatory requirements
