Citizens Privilege Banking is an exclusive service designed to provide personalized and priority banking experiences to our most valued customers. It offers tailored financial solutions, professional guidance, and exclusive privileges such as dedicated Relationship Managers, separate service counters, and enhanced benefits on various banking products.
2. What are the main advantages of being a Privilege Banking customer?
As a Privilege Banking customer, you enjoy access to priority services, personalized financial guidance, faster transaction processing, and exclusive privileges such as better foreign exchange rates, locker and card discounts, and complimentary banking assistance through our dedicated Relationship Managers.
3. Who can become a Privilege Banking customer?
Individuals and institutions maintaining strong relationships with the bank are eligible.
For individuals, eligibility is generally based on average balance, shareholding, salary income, or special management approval. Corporate clients with significant account balances or payroll relationships with Citizens Bank also qualify. Senior citizens and differently abled customers are automatically eligible for this service.
4. Is there a fee to join or maintain Privilege Banking?
No. Privilege Banking is a complimentary service provided by Citizens Bank to recognize and reward our valued customers.
5. What is the Privilege Digital Card?
The Privilege Digital Card is available through your Citizens Mobile Banking app. It displays your Privilege status along with your Relationship Manager’s name, and contact details. This allows you to receive priority service at any Citizens Bank branch across Nepal.

Yes. Privilege customers are recognized across all Citizens Bank branches in Nepal. Even if your home branch doesn’t have a Privilege counter, you can still enjoy priority services at any branch.
8. Are there special service hours for Privilege Banking?
Yes. Privilege counters operate from Sunday to Thursday (10:00 AM to 5:00 PM) and Friday (10:00 AM to 1:00 PM). Customers can contact their Relationship Manager for appointments beyond these hours if needed.
9. Can my family members also enjoy Privilege Banking benefits?
Yes. Family members of Privilege customers can enjoy select privileges such as priority service and special assistance at branches, although separate Privilege Cards are not issued to them.
10. What is Home and Office Banking?
Home and Office Banking allows Privilege staff to deliver selected banking services at your doorstep or workplace upon request. This is especially useful when you’re unable to visit the branch personally.
11. What happens if my account balance falls below the required level?
If your average balance remains below the eligibility threshold for four consecutive quarters, your Privilege status may be reviewed or temporarily suspended. However, our team will contact you beforehand to discuss the situation and possible solutions.

You’ll receive regular updates from your Relationship Manager regarding new services, promotions, and tie-ups. You’ll also receive personalized greetings during major festivals and special occasions such as your birthday.
13. How often will my Relationship Manager contact me?
Your RM will reach out to you at least once every 45 days for individuals and every month for corporate clients to ensure your banking needs are met and to offer guidance on new opportunities.

Yes. Citizens Bank ensures complete confidentiality of all Privilege customer data. All personal and financial information is handled securely in accordance with bank policy and regulatory standards.
