Citizens Smart banking service can be used even your phone doesn’t support the available app. this can be done by sending SMS to 37788 with the combination of your pin code and keywords in a specific syntax The syntax and examples for different services are as follows:

Fund Transfer

Citizens Bank Smart Bank users can use the service to transfer funds from one account to another account within the same bank or to the member banks. They can also have. Smart banking provides the advantage of transferring fund to predefined account and other bank account. They can avail smart banking for their prepaid debit card or transfer fund to other payment gateway such as eSewa, cash out etc.

 

1. Fund Transfer from Primary account

Syntax: < FT> < (1 FOR FIRST A/C, 2 FOR SECOND A/C)>

Eg: 1234 FT 100 2

Your account will be debited by the requested amount and same amount will be credited to the receiver's account in a few seconds.

 

2. Fund Transfer from specified account

Syntax: < ACCOUNT ALIAS > < ACCOUNT ALIAS OF DESTINATION ACCOUNT NUMBER>

Eg: 1234 FTS 100 2 1

 

Bill Payment

Customers can perform mobile payment to any merchants using Citizens Smart Bank service. Users can also make payment of bills. Mobile banking eases users by providing the facility to have bill payment to predefined merchant such as Telecoms, Service Providers, etc. Users can also have payment of utility bills, fee, and credit card; have their mobile recharged and other merchants, via their mobile device.

 

1. Land Line Telephone Bill Payment

2. NTC: Land Line Bill Payment of specified account

Syntax: PAYS NTPST< space> < ACCOUNT ALIAS >

Payment of your landline telephone bill will be made and your specified account will be debited for the same amount in a few minutes.

 

3. NTC Pre Paid Topup
